International Marina Tsvetaeva festival starts in Feodosia

Flickr/zhulanchik6th International Marina Tsvetaeva festival starts in Feodosia, Crimean town on the Black Sea coast. It is conducted by Marina and Anastasia Tsvetaeva's museum. Poets, actors, musicians, artists are coming to the peninsula to create the "synthesis of the arts” oasis.

The main goal of the festival is popularizing works of genius Silver Age Russian poet. Aside of poetical evenings and concerts, meetings with recognized Russian and Ukrainian poets and bards are planned. Also theatre performances by Irkutsk and St. Petersburg actors will represent Maria Tsvetaeva from another side.

Participants will have a chance to have a tour around Tsvetaeva's museum-reserve that has started working in 2009. Public figures who invested in this museum, have collected more than thousand objects connected with Tsvetaeva and her epoch.
