Moscow International Film Festival to comprise movies from 10 countries

pixabay.comOrganizers of International Film Festival which will start on June 22 in the Russian capital have announced the contest agenda of the forum, RIA Novosti advises.

Eleven feature films from China, Argentine, Spain, Finland, Japan, Korea, Germany, Austria and India will compete for the victory in the contest. Russia is to present two movies, which are Buy Me and Frosted Carp.

According to Programming Director of the Moscow International Film Festival Kirill Razlogov, the festival bill is very versatile this year. “It includes a mix of various show programmes, films and people”, he added.

Moreover, names of the jury members are known already. Among them are film directors Jorn Johan Donner (Finland), Reza Mirkarimi (Iran), Albert Serra (Spain). A famous Italian actress Ornella Muti will work with them too.

Apart from the film contest, festival agenda will abound in many other activities, such as retrospective of Andrey Konchalovskiy’s movies, traditional programmes titled Russian Trace, Spectrum and Films, Which did not Exist Here. A special place will be allocated for Indian and Korean movies.
