29.03.2017

Anton Varganov/dp.ru//godliteratury.ru Saint Petersburg street is embellished with portraits of Soviet-Russian science fiction authors Arkady and Boris Strugatsky.

Uncommon installation can be found on Stachek Prospect not far from Culture House. The couple of Street artists from On the River studio worked together, as famous writers. They have painted over the Cube that is made out of the plywood.

The quote from Roadside Picnic novel is also written on the cube “Happiness for everybody is free, and nobody will go away unsatisfied!” There are also more illustrations for other books on the cube. All the drawings and writings are done in black and white. This event coincides with the appearance of all Strugatsky's books online.

Let us remind you that Andrey and Maria Strugatsky, the heirs of the sci-fi writers, have decided to publish all the literary works on the official website. This step was explained that fighting against piracy is impossible.
