Slovakia citizens will find out more about Russian culture

Slovakia inhabitants will be able to see contemporary and old movies made in Russia and USSR.

The screenings will be part of the Week of Russian Cinema, as per RF Ministry of Culture. According to Russian Deputy Minister for Culture Alla Manilova, the week includes master classes by famous Russian directors from the VGIK Film Institute.

Apart of this, the June program in Bratislava will include Pyatnitsky Choir concert, and opening of photography exhibition devoted to choreographers Yuri Grigorovich and Marius Petipa.

This year several exhibitions are coming to Slovenia. Expositions from museum-preserve Tarkhanu, The Battle of Stalingrad, the Russian Museum of decorative-applied and folk art, museum-preserve Polenov, Mikhailovskoe and others are coming to Slovakia.

The premier of Boris Eifman's ballet based on Brothers Karamazov of Fyodor Dostoevsky will take place on the Slovak National Theater in Bratislava in the fall 2017.
