Livre Paris Book Fair

24.03.2017

fapmc.ru One of the main book markets in the world, Paris book fair has opened today in the French capital.

Russian stand comprising more than 600 issues is one of the biggest stands on the fair. Following tradition, the main part of the books includes fiction, textbooks and art albums dedicated to Russia. Many books were specially published in memory of important dates, such as 100-year anniversary of two revolutions.

Gorky Institute of World Literature brought to the fair several academic publications. The researchers from the Institute are going to tell the fair visitors about their work perspectives and new researches.

While book markets from Frankfurt and London put an emphasis on the book business, contracts and business connections, the Paris Book Fair puts writers in the center of attention. There are many Q&A’s with Russian authors Vladislav Otroshenko, Alexey Makushinsky and others.

Pushkin State Russian Language Institute will introduce Russian language online programs and Russian language courses just opened in Paris.
