Tadzhik specialists in Russian get to know about innovative teaching methods

On 20-24 December the Russian Center under the Tajik National University (TNU) hosted advanced training courses Application of Innovative Technologies to Teaching Russian arranged for Russian language teachers.

The courses were arranged by the Russian Center at the TNU and the branch of the Institute for Teachers’ Continuing Education as part of the festival of the Russian language dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The lectures and master-classes were given by the Head of the Department of Russian Language and literature teaching methods at the TNU Gulchekhra Khodzhimatova, professor at the department of general linguistics and comparative typology at the TNU Mekhrinisso Nagzibekova, associate professor at the department of general linguistics and comparative typology at the TNU Rokhat Babaeva and associate professor at the department of the Russian language for faculties not majoring in linguistic disciplines at the TNU Akhmad Nazarov.

The program of the advanced training classes included reports on such topics as Specific character of teaching Tajik students contemporary Russian language and literature, Communicative practical course as a form of classwork, Innovative systems of teaching Russian language as a foreign one and others.
