The names of the award winners of the 7th New Children’s Book contest established by the Rosmen publishing house for authors writing children’s book in Russian have been announced in Moscow, reports RIA «Novosti».
The contest has 4 nominations, including three main ones which are “Out-of-Class Stories”, “The World of Fantasy” and “The New Children’s Illustration” and a special one which is “Dear Nature”. Ten finalists competed for the prize in each of them. The contest arrangers received over 3,000 applications from over 40 countries.
Tatyana Rusakova with her book “Fae Borisa Larisovna” won a prize in “Out-of-Class Stories” nomination. “Makabr” by Mila Yurina was announced the best book in “The World of Fantasy” nomination. Inna Paporotnaya, Belarus, was announced the best illustrator. Anastasia Strokina won her prize in the special nomination for her book “Sovinyi Volk Bubo”.
